Europe's original and most popular Gay Winter Sports and Music Festival
European Gay Ski Week returns to Alpe d'Huez for each year
in what never fails to be a great event! There are cocktail parties, masquerade
parties, pool parties and more as well as the SnowGaymes - an international gay
and lesbian ski and snowboard contest.
Over 1500 people will be in Alpe d'Huez for the biggest
European gay festival of winter. Some of Europes most famous gay party
organisers (for example: Salvation, La Demence, Jungle) are brought onboard to
ensure that each European Gay Ski Week is the best ever!
Alpe d’Huez has a fabulous setting at an altitude of 1860 on
a south-facing plateau, at the foot of the "Grandes Rousses" in the
Northern Alps. Alpe d’Huez also averages over 300 days of sunshine per year and
is known as « l’Ile au soleil »,(the
sunny isle). is situated. There are
magnificent views over the famous peaks of the Oisans region: the Meije, the
Mont Blanc, the Aiguilles d’Arves, and from the top station, the Pic Blanc
(3330m) on a clear day a fifth of France can be seen.
